The public is invited to "Healing in the Collective," an event collaboratively organized by the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (SPTS) and Konscious Youth Development & Service (KYDS).
Scheduled for Thursday, May 1st, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, the event will take place at the Konscious Community Center, 631 Lake Ave, Asbury Park, NJ.
Designed to focus on the mental health and well-being of youth, particularly youth of color, the event will explore essential topics such as cultural context, engagement with at-risk youth, confidentiality, warning signs, protective factors, and holistic approaches to wellness. Participants will gain practical skills for co-regulation and access valuable resources.
The event is supported by the Monmouth County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child and Youth Services. It highlights the commitment of KYDS and SPTS to fostering community care and addressing youth mental health challenges.
