MonmouthCares Welcomes Five New Board Members

MonmouthCares is an independent non-profit in Monmouth County, NJ that serves youth and families up to age 21 and is part of the NJ Children’s System of Care. Our mission is “to facilitate positive change so that children with emotional and behavioral challenges, along with their families, have the greatest opportunity to live, thrive and develop in their communities.” The Board of Trustees at MonmouthCares is responsible for the strategic and fiscal oversight of the organization. We are pleased to announce five new Board of Trustee members.
MonmouthCares’ Executive Director, Marin Kirby De Leon, welcomes the new Board members expressing, “I am thrilled to be welcoming five amazing additions to our Board of Trustees at MonmouthCares. While we focused this year on welcoming volunteers with fiscal management experience, we are also happy to have new Board members that represent our local social service and school communities."

Pauline Cieri
A retired speech-language specialist, Pauline worked in public schools her whole career. Her dedication to enhancing communication skills in children is evident from her lengthy 34-year career with school children in Ocean Township and Long Branch districts.

Stephanie Englander
Stephanie holds a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor and Substance Awareness Coordinator. Stephanie has worked in both outpatient and inpatient treatment, intensive in-community, private practice, and school settings.

Linda D. Schwabenbauer
Linda joins our Board with a background in finance as a licensed CPA with nearly 30 years of experience. She is the Senior Vice President of Finance at Acelero Learning in New York.

Maxine Siegel Silverman
Maxine is the Principal at Maxine Silverman Accounting and has vast accounting experience in the nonprofit sector. Her background includes American Red Cross Headquarters and ECLC of New Jersey, a private, nonprofit school for students with special needs.

Joseph Simon
Joseph is an accomplished manager with expertise in grants management and government finance. He holds dual master’s degrees in Public Administration and International Affairs.
