Protect Your SNAP & WFNJ Benefits from Theft with New EBT Lock/Unlock Feature

According to the New Jersey Division of Human Services, any benefits stolen on or after December 21, 2024, are not eligible for replacement, as a result of a change in the federal budget. It’s recommended that you keep your card locked until the time of purchase, then lock your card again when the transaction is complete. You should still report any stolen benefits.

To use the new EBT Lock/Unlock feature, visit NJFamiliesFirst.com and click "Program Materials" for more instructions.
