Stephanie Nicole Parze Foundation Launches New Sanctuary Initiative
On Monday, March 24, 2025, The Stephanie Nicole Parze Foundation will be kicking off a new statewide initiative aimed at ensuring victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse have a safe, secure, non-threatening and comfortable space at police departments and other facilities throughout New Jersey.
Each space will be designated as “STEPHANIE'S SANCTUARY” in honor of Stephanie Nicole Parze who tragically lost her life to DV. These newly renovated spaces will allow victims to decompress and to feel more at ease as they begin to recover from their horrifying ordeals. This will also make it easier for responding advocates and police officers working these cases to help these victims in a more calm and soothing atmosphere while they provide their valuable services. Emergency essentials such as a change of clothing, soft drinks, snacks, etc., children's coloring books and more will also be available along with helpful information.
Please come out and show your support for the SNPF and this wonderful endeavor. Open to all and especially survivors of DV, SA and their families.
The dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 pm inside of police headquarters. Freehold Township will serve as the pilot for this initiative.
