Alternative Counseling Method is a Substance Use Outpatient facility that serves the Substance Use Disorders in Monmouth County and surrounding counties. We are a facility that services those that have Medicaid funded insurance as well as other funding sources. 

Alternative Counseling Method focuses on building on the strengths and potential of our clients. Clients are assisted in developing themselves and supported in the creation of a relapse prevention plan, achieving sobriety and the achievement of a Valued Community role designated by the client. All Services are geared to meet the needs of our population and individual expectations are set to a level that will enable success. All clients are admitted to the program based on specific admission criteria
