I am a LCSW, offering treatment to children, adolescents, and adults.  I help clients handle their emotion and behavior with different situations throughout their life, ranging from: temper tantrums / social skills in childhood, to peer pressure in adolescence, pressures of college, finding your career path and maintaining relationships in young adulthood, adjusting to various life transitions come middle / late adulthood (relationship issues, adjusting lifestyle when children leave home, illness, caring for children and parents simultaneously).  These are only a small gamut of life transitions that could take over and overwhelm some of us at one time or another.

I have special interest and experience in dealing with people and their families with physical disabilities, including PTSD, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Dementia, etc. Treatment involves developing skills to cope with the effects of these disabilities. Treatment is offered in an appropriate and nonjudgmental environment. Treatment involves developing skills to cope with the effects of these disabilities. l try to tailor my therapeutic approach to fit the needs of each individual.  With some clients, we might work together to identify and replace maladaptive emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I also apply psychotherapeutic counseling and other counseling skills, depending on the individual's emotional and behavioral needs.
