Family Transition Support Services Summer Camp 2024

For children involved with DCPP or CMO only, FTSS offers a specialized camp whose structure mirrors a classroom at school. The camp offers a variety of age and camp-theme-appropriate movies, activities, projects, and field trips throughout the summer.

1. Benefits of Summer Camp

Trained, caring adult role models help children feel loved, capable and included. Camp helps children grow by providing a supervised, positive environment that has safety as a primary commitment.

2. General Information

FTSS offers a specialized camp whose structure mirrors a classroom at school. Camp Offers a variety of age and camp-theme-appropriate movies, activities, projects and field trips throughout the summer.

  • Camp starts on Monday, June 24 and ends on Friday, August 23, 2024.
  • Camp hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Transportation is provided in th Trenton and Hamilton areas.

3. How to Register

Contact your DCP&P Case Worker or CMO care Manager to request camp services. ALL REFERRALS MUST COME FROM DCPP OR CMO.

4. Enjoy the Experience

Weekly themes include: Let's Get Acquainted, Kindness Matters, Holidays, Outdoor Madness, Challenge Week, Under the Sea, STEM, Sports Bonanza, Awesome Artists and Express Yourself.

Camp groups: Ages 5-8, Ages 9-11, and Ages 12 and up.

Specials include: Swimming, Recreation (soccer, outside games and pickleball, arts and crafts, computers and parks, water fun and 3 camp fieldtrips.

5. Additional Information

Pick Up and Drop Off: Pick Up begins at 8:30 AM. Drop Off begins at 3:00 PM.

Food Services: Breakfast, lunch, and snack is provided.

After Care Program: After Care Hours and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Camp Application: Prior to attending Camp, all camp paperwork must be returned.
