We are delighted to offer a carefully prepared curriculum for the child with developmental disabilities/special needs--incorporating various special tools/props such as: scarves, stretches, rhythm sticks, etc. with individualized movement and dance instruction customized to meet your child's personal needs.

This program is enthusiastically executed with with love and care by our Certified Special Needs Teacher holding a Masters Degree is Special Education--Introducing Miss Brooke, who brings with her excellent credentials in both special eduation and dance instruction. She has been affiliated with the Rising Stars School of Dance and Performing Arts since its inception 21 years ago. Brooke began with Rising Starts as a student herself--and, in addition to her work as a special needs educator in one of our local schools, for the past three years she has joined our staff of exceptional instructors making children's dreams come true through dance. Her expertise and love for her students is abundantly evident in every class she teaches and all her students take with them the lifelong benefit of dance education, positive reinforcement, happy memories, and fun! (Waiting in the wings--we have two additional dance instructors with degrees in Special Education ready and eager to add their love and talent to our innovative program as it expands).
