St. Rose Job Transition Network -  Amid rapidly growing unemployment in May 2009, St Rose of Lima Parish began the ministry of tending to the unemployed and underemployed. We have found that not only are there many without work, but that many of those out of work are not familiar with the ins and outs of current job search techniques. The St Rose Job Transition Network offers an opportunity for transitioning individuals to receive practical advice on job search related activities such as resume development, interviewing, on-line job search, networking and much more.     The St. Vincent de Paul Society can give short-term help with food, clothing, some furniture and assistance with meeting bills such as rent, heat, utilities and prescription medications. Additionally, when necessary, referrals may be provided to other resources and government agencies. The Society particularly desires to prevent homelessness.
