Our beautiful camp property in Medford, New Jersey provides enriching, life-enhancing outdoor experiences for people of all ages and abilities. We’re located on more than 800 acres in the heart of the South Jersey Pinelands, just a half hour from Philadelphia and less than two hours from New York City. We provide year-round access to nature, adventure, environmental education and fun through our top-notch summer camps (both overnight and co-ed day camp), our state-of-the-art Outdoor Center (challenge course, zipline, high and low rope elements, etc.) our weekend retreats, our wilderness trips and our full schedule of family-friendly programs. Camp Ockanickon for boys leads the way in camping, character, and connection. At camp, we tell kids, “The hero is you.” We want them to realize it. We want them to act like it. We want them to help others do the same.  We believe the heroic mindset fostered over summers at Ockanickon will benefit them (and those around them) for decades to come.

Camp Matollionequay, our girls Overnight Camp for ages 7-16, will provide your child with a top-notch program in a safe, supportive environment led by an enthusiastic professionally trained adult role models. The single-gender nature of Camp Matollionequay means campers experience an environment that is uniquely supportive. With a focus in character development and personal relationships our campers have the opportunity to build their self-esteem, explore personal limits, enhance communication and self-awareness, and discover independence in a safe and nurturing environment. Matollionequay supports and encourages campers to become their truest and best self.

2024 Pricing

1 Week Pricing – Tier A: $1,200 – Tier B: $1,065 – Tier C: $950

2 Week Pricing – Tier A: $2,250 – Tier B: $1,980 – Tier C: $1,790

* The tiered pricing system is an “honor system” designed to make camp more affordable and accessible. Levels B & C are below the true cost of camp, so we ask that all parents who can afford to pay Level A please do so. All chosen levels are confidential and all children receive the same great camp experience regardless of level.

Ranger Wilderness Trips for Camp Ockanickon and Camp Matollionequay, ages 14-16
